Our dear friends, Carlos and Carolina Adame, are well known in the community of Hacienda, where they have been faithfully ministering for the past 17 years. About six years ago, they approached our church of Fuente de Vida about helping them to plant a church in that community. For the past five years, they have faithfully served in leadership at Fuente de Vida and have continued at the front of the mission work in Hacienda. God has blessed the investment of Fuente de Vida there, and the mission is thriving. 

Their congregation of 50 meets in a small rented home, where they have removed several walls in order to have a bigger meeting space (although an awkward L shaped one!) Their AWANA club regularly has 70 children, and a strong group of youth eagerly serves and is making an impact on the community. Carlos and Carolina spend significant time each month evangelizing in the community with the church members and discipling the believers there.

In March of 2024, God provided for the down payment on an ample and well-situated property just two streets over from their current meeting location, and the congregation began working to clear away rubble and raise and level the land, since the community has experienced some flooding in recent years. 

They got an estimate from a brother in our congregation who owns a construction company for the costs of a building that would meet their needs. Without outside resources, however, they knew they could not hope to build for many, many years. BUT GOD... We have seen God working wonders, providing the funds for construction and gifted hands for labor in order to build them a place where they can continue to grow and can serve even more effectively in the community.
